There is no scientific explanation for “why do we dream.” Some researchers say it’s a nature’s way to prepare us for threats. They think so because most prevalent emotions felt during Dreams are negative(anger, anxiety, abandonment, etc.). However, another theory says ideas are not actual messages from the brain. These are just results of our cortex trying to synthesize electromagnetic impulse noise coming from the unconscious mind while it is stitching important memories from day to be for use in the future. So it is just an unimportant result of an essential process taking place at night.

Can You Remember What You Dream?

If you have a dream that you cannot quite remember, it’s right there in the very front of your mind, but no matter how hard you try you cannot get it, start thinking about a different dream you recently had that you can remember, step by step. Suddenly, and all at once, the forgotten dream will become crystal clear to you.

If you have a recurring dream that troubles you night after night or so, talk to someone about it. Tell them what you can about the vision and state what you think it could mean, even if you have no idea. Chances are you will not have that dream again.

Whenever you tell someone about a dream you just had, you always leave out some seemingly small part of the idea that makes no sense and seems unrelated to the actual goal. This little part, in actuality, is the most crucial and essential part of the dream. You should always include it when talking about the purpose, especially if you are trying to find some meaning.
